I am very fond of this series of paintings, made last summer from memories of precious ‘lockdown’ days spent by the waterside. The emergence of soft pinks, baby blues and emerald greens showed something of the light and joyful colours that emerged by the water’s edge in the summer sunshine. The work captures something of the colour and freedom of these moments…imprints of lazy summer days.
